TL;DR

Customer Success Director (B2B Tech): Leading customer success initiatives across portfolio accounts to drive long-term customer value, retention, and growth with an accent on strategic planning and executive engagement. Focus on mentoring Customer Success Managers, managing high-level stakeholder relationships, and aligning customer outcomes with business goals.

Location: Must be based in Newton, MA, Washington DC, or New York City. Hybrid work requiring 3+ days in-office per week.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 base plus bonus

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with Account Directors and Managers.
  • Manage executive-level relationships as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders in Portfolio accounts.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Customer Success Managers.
  • Drive customer advocacy and identify opportunities for expansion and upsell.
  • Lead strategic business reviews and communicate measurable value delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, and Sales teams to advocate for customer needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or strategic leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving customer retention, satisfaction, and expansion.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Expertise in customer success tools such as Gainsight and Salesforce.
  • Must be based in Newton, MA, Washington DC, or New York City.
