What you will do

• Translate creative visions into real-time editorial decisions during live broadcasts to enhance storytelling.
• Direct live and coach-to-camera workout classes, ensuring high production value via camera blocking and audio fidelity.
• Lead and mentor a team of Production Technicians (Audio, Camera, Vision) during broadcasts.
• Manage daily control room workflows and maintain all SOPs and brand style guides.
• Partner with engineering to identify workflow inefficiencies and test new hardware/software solutions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical failures during time-sensitive live productions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience directing or technical directing in a live control room or broadcast environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Ross Carbonite switchers, Yamaha QL/CL consoles, and signal flow (SDI, NDI, Dante).
• Proven ability to guide technical crews calmly and effectively during fast-paced live broadcasts.
• Systems-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex IP-based broadcast workflows.
• Ability to work a variable production schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
