What you will do
- Assist in compiling research and maintaining on-air updates during live broadcasts.
- Gather information on breaking news stories for anchor use.
- Manage anchor calendars, appearances, and travel schedules.
- Coordinate and build graphic elements for air and select photos for broadcast.
- Pitch stories and guests for the show.
- Create content for digital platforms, social media, and DTC products.
Requirements
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
- At least one year of news production experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours under tight deadline pressure.
Nice to have
- Excellent knowledge of politics, history, and current events.
- Experience with Avid/Interplay and iNews.
