What you will do

• Research, write, and present news stories for television and digital platforms.
• Operate video cameras, recording equipment, and live broadcast technology.
• Edit news packages using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Collaborate with producers and news staff to develop story ideas and investigations.
• Maintain a network of local sources and represent the station at community events.
• Respond to breaking news and manage project deliverables under intense deadlines.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work on-site at the KBLR TV Station in Las Vegas, Nevada.
• Minimum of 3 years of television anchor or reporter experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
• Proven history of newsroom leadership.
