What you will do

• Copy edit reporters’ scripts and assist producers with writing daily newscasts.
• Write assigned stories including news briefs, readers, voice-overs, vo/sots, and anchor packages.
• Apply strong news judgment aligned with the network’s editorial line.
• Write and copy edit banners and graphics for broadcast.
• Translate soundbites, statements, and texts from English to Spanish.
• Coordinate daily workflow and provide guidance to the writing team when serving as lead writer.

Requirements

• Location: Must be willing to work in Miami, Florida.
• Minimum 5 years of news writing experience.
• English: Fully fluent (written and verbal) and Spanish: Fully fluent (written and verbal).
• Minimum 1 year of working experience with iNews.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States and be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
