TL;DR

Executive Vice President (EdTech): Setting strategic direction and leading a high-performing executive team across Sales, Support, R&D, and Professional Services for a school financial solutions division with an accent on P&L accountability and sustainable growth. Focus on driving AI strategy, scaling software delivery, and expanding market presence in the K-12 and public sector.

Location: Remote (must be based in the U.S. or Canada). Significant travel required (50%).

Salary: $190,000–$218,000 per year plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

  • Lead and inspire an executive team of VPs across Sales, Support, R&D, and Professional Services.
  • Own and deliver the division’s net revenue and EBITA growth targets.
  • Define and drive the Business Unit’s AI strategy for product integration and operational adoption.
  • Shape long-term technology strategies and software delivery execution.
  • Identify and develop opportunities in new and adjacent markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers as a trusted partner.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the U.S. or Canada.
  • 5+ years of general management experience in a vertical market software company with P&L ownership.
  • Prior experience at VP level or above with multi-functional leadership scope.
  • Proven track record managing organizations of 80+ individuals across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong preference for experience in K-12 education, public sector, or government software markets.
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
