Data Scientist (AI)

hirify.global is building a security and trust layer for hiring to detect synthetic identities, impersonation, deepfakes, and fraudulent applicants in the AI era.

What you will do

• Learn how hirify.global’s data is sourced, generated, and structured.
• Investigate raw and incomplete datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and fraud signals.
• Build analyses that guide product strategy and determine which signals or models to develop.
• Use SQL and Python to validate assumptions and create internal tools and scripts.
• Design and build analytics dashboards that provide customers with visibility into the hiring trust layer.
• Support QA for new models and signal iterations while improving instrumentation and logging with engineering.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in SQL and Python.
• Comfortable working with Elasticsearch, KQL, and DSL query languages.
• Strong data intuition and experience handling messy, incomplete, real-world datasets.
• Detail-oriented, skeptical, and focused on correctness and data quality.
• Autonomous in ambiguous environments without complete specifications or predefined roadmaps.
• Able to collaborate across product, engineering, and ML teams to turn insights into production-ready security features.

Nice to have

• Django experience.
• Experience in fraud, trust and safety, or risk systems.
• Experience building customer-facing analytics.
• Familiarity with ML workflows or model evaluation.
