Senior Data Scientist (Application Security)

Location: Remote in Spain or Poland; role location includes Madrid, Spain

What you will do

• Analyze large customer datasets containing trillions of records per day to identify insights and build models.
• Develop and implement detection rules and machine learning models that improve the accuracy and effectiveness of security products.
• Improve the collection, manipulation, presentation, and analysis of large datasets in a production-ready environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues in a highly distributed environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions, address customer challenges, and drive product improvements.
• Provide insights that inform product strategy and performance.

Requirements

• Experience working with large datasets using SQL, Spark, and Python.
• Good understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and interest in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Confidence communicating with senior or principal data scientists and engineers.
• Practical knowledge of application security products, such as bot or fraud detection.
