Data Scientist (AI/LLM)

Silicon Valley-headquartered product company building an AI-native analytics platform for automated and conversational business insights.

What you will do

• Build and scale the insights generation platform for customer analytics.
• Design LLM-based pipelines that transform structured data into actionable narratives.
• Integrate customer data sources through APIs and ingestion pipelines for use by AI agents.
• Identify and present business metrics across Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify, Google Analytics, and other sources.
• Evaluate LLM performance and improve cost, speed, and accuracy.
• Own the data science workflow from requirements and collection through reporting, insights, alerts, and report generation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a data scientist.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Experience with modern LLM APIs, including OpenAI and Anthropic, and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of metrics modeling, schema design, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Airbyte and AWS/GCP.
• Experience with observability or alerting systems, anomaly detection, or BI tools; strong communication, structured working habits, and attention to detail.
