TL;DR

Customer Journey Manager (MarTech/Fintech): Designing and orchestrating end-to-end customer journeys to connect marketing strategy with measurable client outcomes with an accent on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and omnichannel orchestration. Focus on translating business goals into scalable journey designs, optimizing lifecycle targeting, and integrating CDP/CRM data for AI-driven personalization.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada. Current work authorization for Canada is required. Note: Work location will move from Toronto to Mississauga in late 2026.

Salary: $105,000 – $129,000 (Total annual cash compensation)

What you will do

  • Design end-to-end customer journeys across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
  • Develop journey logic, triggers, and channel sequencing across mobile content cards, push notifications, in-app messages, email, SMS, and web.
  • Act as a power user of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to review and validate journey setups created by engineers.
  • Partner with Martech teams to ensure data readiness and integration across AJO, Customer Data Platform (CDP), and CRM sources.
  • Lead functional end-to-end testing across all activation channels to ensure personalization and sequencing meet requirements.
  • Define journey KPIs and collaborate with Digital Insights to analyze performance and recommend optimizations.

Requirements

  • Current work authorization for Canada is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, or journey orchestration.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Marketo, or Salesforce Journey Builder.
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven ability to link journey activation to measurable outcomes such as CLV uplift or churn reduction.
  • Experience integrating CDP, CRM, and analytics systems for audience activation.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in financial services or fintech.
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer Business Practitioner or AEP certification.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP).
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation.
