What you will do

• Conduct regular individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise comprehensive patient treatment plans and maintain detailed medical records.
• Perform intake and readmission services, providing supportive follow-up counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with various community providers.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and assess social, educational, and vocational needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, local, and accrediting agency regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in human services or a related field.
• Valid licensure or certification: PADC, CADC, LCDP, LADC, or LCADC required.
• Must be based in or able to work in Westerly, RI (Hybrid).
• Ability to exercise proper judgment with confidential and sensitive patient information.
• Strong understanding of human behavior and rehabilitation of drug-dependent patients.
