What you will do

  • Complete prior authorizations and source financial assistance for patients.
  • Process pharmacy claims and coordinate medication dispensing and shipping.
  • Act as a primary liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
  • Improve the patient experience by handling inquiries and requests.
  • Collaborate with the team to build workflows and processes from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lufkin, TX.
  • Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or LPN in the state of employment.
  • Mastery of core pharmacy technician skills, including claims processing and dispensing.
  • Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation and prior authorizations.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx) or EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner).

Nice to have

  • National certification as a CPhT.
  • Familiarity with medications used in autoimmune, endocrinology, and oncology.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy systems like Therigy, Asembia1, or ScriptMed.
