Location: Remote (Global). Employment is available for candidates based in Ireland; candidates outside of Ireland will be engaged on a full-time contractor basis.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test cycles covering gameplay, functionality, performance, usability, and regression.
• Validate game quality across all major platforms to identify issues early in the development cycle.
• Write detailed bug reports and transform large volumes of QA feedback into actionable development reports.
• Support milestone planning by providing detailed risk assessments and quality evaluations.
• Champion the continuous improvement of QA workflows, documentation, and testing standards.
• Collaborate with the internal team and outside vendors within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience in the videogame industry, with experience leading testing initiatives.
• Proven track record of contributing to complex projects from early development through final release.
• Deep understanding of complex FPS game mechanics, systems, and player behaviors.
• Exceptional bug-reporting skills and a disciplined, investigative approach to testing.
• High proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping or working on AAA titles.
• First-party certification experience (Microsoft, Sony, etc.).
• Competency using and navigating the Unreal Editor.
• Automation and/or scripting experience.
• ISTQB certified tester.
