Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure and production services on AWS and GCP.
• Lead incident response efforts, drive post-incident reviews, and define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Develop software and infrastructure automation using Go, Python, Terraform, and Helm.
• Improve deployment safety and operational workflows through CI/CD and GitOps practices with ArgoCD.
• Build self-service platforms and operational guardrails to increase developer velocity.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted engineering techniques to optimize troubleshooting and automation.

Requirements

• Strong experience operating large-scale production services in AWS and/or GCP.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production, including networking, storage, and scaling.
• Proficiency in software engineering using Golang and/or Python.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Experience operating distributed data platforms (PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, etc.).
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience operating SaaS platforms with large-scale customer workloads.
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD.
• Proven track record of implementing AI-assisted operational tooling.
