Senior Software Architect (AI): Designing and evolving the architectural direction of the Pathfinder product with an accent on scalability, reliability, and the integration of agentic AI systems. What you will do
- Lead the architectural design and technical direction of the Pathfinder product to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
- Define architectural standards, design principles, and best practices across the engineering organization.
- Partner with Product Management to research future capabilities and validate initiatives through POCs and prototypes.
- Mentor and coach engineers on software design, distributed systems, and engineering excellence.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI technologies, LLMs, RAGs, and agentic systems to enhance products.
- Drive architectural consistency through rigorous technical and design reviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in software architecture.
- Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems and microservices-based platforms.
- Strong hands-on development expertise with C#, Java, Python, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
- Practical experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions using LLMs and RAGs.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
