What you will do
- Drive the architectural vision for complex systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement high-performance services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud technologies.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies, including AI/ML capabilities and advanced APIs, into the tech stack.
- Collaborate with Product, GTM, and R&D groups to develop tailored solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Elevate the engineering organization through direct mentorship and by setting high-level best practice standards.
- Make critical architectural decisions to prevent bottlenecks and ensure long-term system health.
Requirements
- 12+ years of backend software development experience with a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot.
- 4+ years of experience as a staff or principal engineer, preferably in an enterprise SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.
