What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade big data infrastructure platforms similar to AWS EMR.
- Enhance distributed computing frameworks including Hadoop, Spark, YARN, and HDFS.
- Drive cloud-native transformation by integrating big data engines with Kubernetes.
- Optimize cluster performance, resource utilization, and workload throughput.
- Improve platform stability, reliability, and observability for large-scale production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in distributed systems and big data infrastructure development.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Flink, or Presto.
- Experience building or operating platforms like AWS EMR, Databricks Runtime, or Google Dataproc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment of distributed computing engines.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Go, or C++.
Nice to have
- Contributor or Committer experience in Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Flink communities.
- Experience operating large-scale clusters with 1,000+ nodes.
- Experience designing containerized compute platforms.
- Familiarity with modern observability and distributed system troubleshooting.
