What you will do
- Lead non-complex projects or sub-projects, ensuring outcomes for cost, schedule, and quality.
- Provide leadership, direction, and delegation to the assigned project team.
- Prepare and monitor project plans, estimates, and cost accounts to meet contract objectives.
- Identify and assess risks related to the assigned scope of work.
- Lead status presentations at Steering Committee, Gate Reviews, and Customer Review meetings.
- Manage contract variations and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level.
- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, or a business discipline.
- Experience in the leadership of systems projects and understanding of the system development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated scheduling and planning skills.
- Experience with Cost Schedule System Reporting (CSSR) or related Earned Value Management systems.
