What you will do

• Act as a strategic partner for the CEO, CFO, and Regional Business Leads, translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
• Own the global forecasting engine, overseeing statistical models that drive annual planning and capital allocation.
• Lead the development of causal inference frameworks to quantify the impact of macroeconomic shifts and internal interventions.
• Drive the roadmap for Generative AI and Machine Learning to automate insights and create proprietary data products.
• Scale and lead a world-class team of data scientists and engineers, focusing on talent acquisition and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied ML.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing technical teams at scale.
• Must be based in San Francisco.
• Deep expertise in causal inference, time-series forecasting, and production-level ML.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and modern data stacks (Airflow, Databricks, dbt, Snowflake).
• Proven track record of influencing C-suite/VP level corporate strategy through data.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
• Experience in Fintech, global payments, or high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
• Previous experience operating within a CEO Office or corporate strategy function.
