Director of AI Analytics & CEO Office (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States; this is a full-time role based in San Francisco.

Salary: $300,000–$320,000 base pay per year, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Advise the CEO, CFO, and regional business leaders by translating complex data into actionable strategies.
• Own the global forecasting engine and oversee statistical models supporting annual planning and capital allocation.
• Lead causal inference analysis to measure the effects of macroeconomic changes and internal interventions.
• Define the Generative AI and machine learning roadmap for automated insights, operational efficiency, and proprietary data products.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, including hiring and performance management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or quantitative strategy, including 5+ years managing technical teams.
• Experience advising executive leadership and influencing corporate strategy through data.
• Hands-on experience deploying forecasting, causal inference, or machine learning models in production.
• Expertise in SQL and Python or R, with experience using modern data stacks such as Airflow, Databricks, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Experience productionizing Generative AI applications or agentic workflows for business intelligence and reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in econometrics, statistics, machine learning, or another quantitative discipline.
• Experience in fintech, global payments, or high-growth B2B SaaS.
• Experience in a CEO Office or corporate strategy function.
• Familiarity with global macroeconomic indicators and cross-border transactional data.
