Calibration Technician (Metrology)

What you will do

• Calibrate and repair measurement equipment across multiple disciplines including dimensional, torque, force, pressure, mass, and scales/balances.
• Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques to ensure precision and quality.
• Maintain calibration standards and perform work within a laboratory setting or at client facilities.
• Travel 20-60% to local and regional customer sites to provide on-site calibration services.
• Collaborate with team technicians to learn and apply calibration fundamentals.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR compliance).
• Associate's degree from a college/technical school or at least one year of related experience/training.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics including algebra, geometry, and statistics.
• Computer competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

• Previous experience or training in physical or dimensional calibrations.
• Experience in PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, or METCAL.
• Background in Electronics or Avionics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
