Calibration Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid (Milford, Michigan). Must be able to report to the local office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

What you will do

• Deliver calibrations for low voltage setpoint control, battery saver modes, and load management to ensure robustness.
• Troubleshoot system hardware and software to resolve issues and complete calibration standard work.
• Analyze large datasets from simulation, lab, dyno, and vehicle tests to tune system responses.
• Coordinate calibration activities with Lead Calibrators and Electric Power Controls Scrum Teams.
• Diagnose and correct vehicle, system, and controls deficiencies.
• Participate in controls groups to support algorithm development and conduct test trips.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience as a Controls Engineer or Controls Software Engineer.
• Experience in calibration development, optimization, and validation for low voltage systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of low voltage power systems and control algorithms.
• Must be based in or able to report to the local office in Milford, Michigan.
