What you will do

• Develop control strategy requirements and algorithms for Power Conversion Systems, Microgrids, and Energy Storage Systems.
• Implement and deliver industry-leading quality controls and software features.
• Collaborate with global teams to create and execute FMEA-based validation plans.
• Perform system validation using software-in-the-loop (SIL), model-in-the-loop (MIL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
• Coordinate with software teams to release updates for new and existing products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Systems Engineering (plus 4 years experience) or a Master's degree (plus 2 years experience).
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience with real-time simulation and development tools such as dSpace or Opal RT.
• Proven track record in controls and software design for power electronics, inverters, or energy storage.
• Experience with Gitlab (or other version control) and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Must have valid US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
