What you will do

• Develop and maintain standardized manufacturing engineering methods and best practices across the MDE organization.
• Define common frameworks for manufacturing planning, process definition, and build readiness.
• Lead the definition of facility planning standards, including line layouts, material flow, and infrastructure requirements.
• Standardize tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) requirements and integration into manufacturing plans.
• Develop standardized approaches for test and functional test equipment aligned with quality and certification.
• Partner cross-functionally with Industrialization, Quality, and Operations to ensure standards are scalable and practical.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
• Deep experience with manufacturing planning, process definition, work instructions, and tooling.
• Ability to translate complex operations into clear, repeatable engineering standards.
• Familiarity with FAA certification considerations and their impact on manufacturing processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, or SAP.
• Experience building manufacturing standards within a scaling organization.
• Background in eVTOL or Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).
