Salary: $118,000 - $168,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead feature development from design through implementation and release for the Voltage SecureData platform.
• Develop and review cryptographic functionality, including encryption, key management, and TLS configuration.
• Maintain and optimize Java and C# SDK layers and their native interoperability with the core C library.
• Set standards for code quality and drive CI/CD strategies using CMake, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on architectural decisions.
• Act as an escalation point for cryptographic, HSM, and PKCS#11 related defects.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++, C#, and Java.
• Strong background in systems programming across Linux, Windows, or UNIX-like platforms.
• Practical applied cryptography experience (TLS/SSL, public-key, symmetric encryption, and key management).
• Experience designing cross-language SDKs and native interop.
• Strong skills in build engineering with CMake and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to work from the specified Ontario locations (Office-based)

Nice to have

• Experience with PKCS#11 and HSM integration (nCipher, Atalla, Thales Luna).
• Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and payment standards (EMV, PCI-DSS, ISO 8583).
• IBM z/OS or HPE NonStop development experience.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools in production environments.
