What you will do

• Architect and optimize data processing systems for reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, data models, and architectures for high-volume data transformation.
• Build robust data quality observability, monitoring, and validation frameworks.
• Develop real-time data pipelines using Kafka to support aircraft telemetry and flight testing.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data architecture supports decision-making and custom app development.
• Integrate data systems with aircraft telemetry and operational platforms.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data or software engineering with proficiency in SQL and Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience designing and managing high-performance data warehouse or lakehouse architectures.
• Expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of data security, quality governance, and real-time pipeline development.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, flight test data analysis, or aircraft health monitoring.
• Solid foundation in machine learning, predictive analytics, and time series data applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of integrating Gen AI into production data workflows.
