What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain core iOS features using Swift with a focus on performance and stability.
• Deploy and optimize on-device machine learning models via CoreML and MLX for real-time intelligence.
• Integrate mapping, live weather feeds, and sensor data into the application.
• Ensure reliable offline functionality for mission-critical aviation inputs.
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate research into flight-ready features.
• Manage the App Store release process, including provisioning, analytics, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Jose, California
• No work visa sponsorship available
• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Fluency in Swift and modern UIKit/SwiftUI architectures.
• Proven track record of shipping and supporting apps on the Apple App Store.
• Experience deploying on-device machine learning with Core ML or MLX.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills for mission-critical applications.

• Background in aviation, navigation, or weather-related applications.
• Experience with 3D graphics, Metal, or OpenGL.
• Understanding of aviation data formats and regulations.
