Compensation: $180,000 – $275,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own major parts of the iOS codebase and contribute to high-level architecture decisions.
• Build and optimize video-heavy features including recording, clipping, playback, and social feeds.
• Tackle performance challenges such as reducing stutter, improving frame rates, and managing iOS sandboxing for media capture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, backend, and product teams to ship features rapidly.
• Advocate for user experience, performance, and accessibility across the platform.
• Uphold high standards for code quality and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience shipping iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with Swift Concurrency and Combine.
• Hands-on experience with AVFoundation or mobile video/audio workflows.
• Experience working on complex real-time, media-heavy, or social applications.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York City 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience working with video on mobile at a consumer-facing company.
• Knowledge of Android development.
• Experience with Objective-C, iPadOS, or macOS.
• CI/CD experience, specifically with Xcode Cloud.
