TL;DR

Lead iOS Developer (iOS/Swift): Leading the development and launch of new products for the hirify.global iOS app with an accent on core product engineering and technical leadership. Focus on designing scalable mobile architectures, mentoring engineers, and optimizing the transaction flow for finance teams.

Location: Hybrid (New York, NY or San Francisco, CA) or Remote. Relocation support available to NYC or SF

Salary: $189,000 – $330,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design, lead, and launch new products and features on the hirify.global iOS App.
• Drive the core product engineering roadmap and make key prioritization and scoping decisions.
• Set engineering standards through code reviews and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify and plan successful app features.
• Utilize customer feedback to constantly iterate and improve the product.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development.
• Minimum 2 years of technical leadership experience leading or managing teams.
• Proficiency in Swift and deep knowledge of the iOS Developer Platform.
• Experience contributing to mobile apps or features serving a large user base.
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, The Composable Architecture (TCA), and Bazel.
• Knowledge of web technologies like React and JavaScript.
• Experience with backend technologies (Python, Flask, SQL, OpenAPI).
• Proficiency in managing apps via App Store Connect.
