Solutions Engineer (Azure/Microsoft 365): Own technical scoping of client initiatives and translate technology roadmaps into clear, scalable SOWs with an accent on WAN architecture, cloud-centric solutions, and advanced cybersecurity frameworks. Focus on defining scope pricing and boundaries, presenting technical sales solutions in client meetings/QBRs, and ensuring solutions are operationally and financially viable.
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do
- Own technical scoping of client initiatives and business needs from concept through SOW approval.
- Define scope pricing, boundaries, assumptions, and exclusions; reduce post-sale ambiguity and delivery escalations.
- Build actionable client technology roadmaps aligned to the company product stack and ensure technical, operational, and financial viability.
- Serve as a recognized SME for assigned product and solution stacks; standardize services and solution patterns/templates.
- Attend client meetings and QBRs to present technical sales solutions and align expectations throughout engagements.
- Translate roadmap initiatives with the Technology Alignment Manager and client into well-defined SOWs; support training and enablement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of IT-related college degree or equivalent work experience in IT support/engineering.
- Strong technical competency in WAN architecture, cloud-centric solutions, and advanced cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC2, CMMC).
- Advanced networking protocols experience and Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 expertise.
- Experience with hosted voice/telephony, business continuity & disaster recovery strategy, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional after-hours commitments.
- Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for an employer without restriction.
