What you will do

• Manage month-end accounting processes for UK, Ireland, Sweden, and Romania entities to strict deadlines.
• Perform variance analysis against plans and forecasts, justifying significant deviations.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead annual statutory reporting and act as the primary contact for external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and corporate income tax filings.
• Coordinate monthly cash flow forecasting and maintain documented accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without employer sponsorship.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards.
• Proven experience in month-end and annual closing processes.
• Ability to work effectively with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex financial data.
