Radiology Facilitator

What you will do

• Perform tasks that support radiologists’ interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies to improve efficiency and turnaround times.
• Facilitate and expedite radiology studies by monitoring workflow, prioritizing STAT and call-report exams, and coordinating study readiness.
• Communicate with referring physicians and clinic personnel to obtain or relay patient and exam information on behalf of radiologists.
• Manage radiology studies, reports, and data transfers while supporting QA and teleradiology system checks.
• Work in an onsite or remote setup based on practice needs, including prolonged sitting or standing and the ability to lift 25–30 pounds.

Requirements

• Radiology and/or medical office experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Comfort working with hospital patient information systems and radiology workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
