Tax Manager (Sales & Use Tax)

What you will do

• Manage and deliver sales and use tax compliance and consulting engagements for diverse clients.
• Review tax returns and workpapers to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct nexus studies, taxability analyses, and exposure reviews.
• Advise clients on multi-state indirect tax issues, including audit defense and voluntary disclosure agreements.
• Lead, mentor, and coach staff and senior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax with a focus on SALT.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state indirect tax regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience managing engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA, JD, or MST preferred.
