Senior Systems Administrator

TL;DR

Senior Systems Administrator (Enterprise IT): Own and manage core infrastructure services, identity and access management, endpoint management, and enterprise SaaS platforms with an accent on reliability, security, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001). Focus on implementing and enhancing workplace technology, leading migrations and operational transition plans, and resolving complex escalations for a globally distributed workforce.

What you will do

• Administer and support Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Zoom, and Slack collaboration platforms.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle and security tooling across macOS and Windows, including Jamf, BeyondTrust, and Microsoft Intune.
• Administer identity services in Okta, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, user lifecycle, and access reviews.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Lead implementation, migration, and enhancement projects across enterprise technology platforms, including technical designs and operational transition plans.
• Ensure security controls and services comply with SOC 2 and ISO 27001; support audits and vulnerability remediation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, enterprise IT, endpoint management, or related infrastructure roles.
• Proven expertise with Apple/macOS environments, Google Workspace, and Jamf device management.
• Strong identity and access management experience, including Okta, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and access reviews.
• Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms (user provisioning, integrations, lifecycle management, governance).
• Demonstrated experience implementing security controls, endpoint protection, and compliance initiatives.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with network administration and diagnostics (Aruba, Palo Alto, Zscaler).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience evaluating, deploying, or governing enterprise AI solutions (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar).
• Relevant certifications (Jamf, Google Workspace, Okta, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, or equivalent).
