What you will do
- Develop security-focused product features using modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript) and technologies such as Kubernetes and BigQuery.
- Implement secure SDLC practices including Git-based version control and pull-request code reviews.
- Participate in technical design discussions, conduct research, and produce architecture documents for new systems and features.
- Join an engineering on-call rotation to triage and resolve bugs and reliability issues using monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Sentry, PagerDuty).
- Support customer support by answering software questions and assisting with high-priority inbound customer requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of experience in the offered or related role.
- 1 year of experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum, sprint planning, and iteration reviews.
- 1.5 years of experience in backend web development, including unit and integration testing, production issue triage, Kubernetes, Node, and GCP tooling (BigQuery and DataStore).
- Experience with Test-Driven Development, API design, CI/CD pipelines, web security best practices, and scalability.
- Experience with frontend web development (2 years) and ReactJS, plus data storage and querying (3 years), SQL, and Git/GitHub.
