What you will do

• Work with Product Managers to drive projects from idea formulation through design and implementation.
• Design and build data governance features for secure data access and governance across the full lifecycle.
• Solve large-scale business problems using software engineering and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Make system design trade-offs to meet Snowflake customers’ needs.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Fluency in Java required.
• Experience with database fundamentals, including working with SQL.
• Systems programming skills, including multi-threading and concurrency.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field; Masters or PhD preferred.

• Experience with database security or building data governance systems.
