What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data integration and transformation solutions, onboarding sources such as Snowflake and Salesforce.
• Implement production-ready data pipelines utilizing GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Composer.
• Optimize data processing systems and platform services for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the data platform by introducing AI-driven governance and data mesh principles.
• Produce technical documentation and reusable implementation patterns to ensure platform sustainability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• 2+ years of practical experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud SQL).
• Proficiency in Java and SQL for building data solutions and pipelines.
• Experience with schema migration tools such as Liquibase or Flyway.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and architectures like Data Lakehouse or Data Mesh.
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher level required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python scripting.
• Exposure to the Snowflake data platform.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI and Terraform.
