What you will do

• Deploy and develop data engineering pipelines and platforms that make disparate data meaningful for analytics and reporting.
• Assess, design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Create and operationalize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data processing.
• Build and modify data transformations in Palantir Foundry Data Pipeline Builder and code repositories.
• Read logs, diagnose errors, and troubleshoot issues in Palantir Foundry.
• Develop scripts/programs to convert multiple data types into usable formats and support scaling, monitoring, and operation of data platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale.
• 3+ years of experience building scalable ETL/ELT workflows for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry Ontology (Object Types, Link Types, Action Types) and Foundry Workshop debugging.
• Ability to build and modify data transformations in Palantir Foundry Data Pipeline Builder and code repositories.
• Secret clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with distributed data/computing tools (Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, Kafka).
• Experience with real-time/streaming data applications and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
