What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models and statistical experiments.
• Own the analytical framework to ensure robustness, reproducibility, and scalability.
• Oversee data collection, processing, and the implementation of ETL pipelines.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights for product development.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate models into applications and APIs.
• Monitor deployed models for performance drift and degradation.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret US government clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in applied NLP, data labeling, and entity extraction.
• Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and ML Ops practices.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with government customers and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a STEM field, ideally Data Science.
• Advanced understanding of AI/ML applications in predictive maintenance or logistics.
• Experience with sensor-based failure predictions and modeling.
• Experience with Monte-Carlo simulation and confidence level calculations.
