Salary: $110,000–$145,000 Annually

What you will do

• Define the purpose, value, and roadmap for assigned data products, aligning them with organizational strategy.
• Translate business priorities into detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between data architecture, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, effort, and strategic goals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data lineage, metric definitions, and usage guidance.
• Ensure all data products adhere to strict governance, compliance, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or product management.
• Strong proficiency in data models, KPIs, and analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and data quality frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
• Must be based in the Buffalo, NY area and eligible for U.S. export-controlled information access.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Background in Aerospace & Defense or similarly regulated industries with knowledge of ITAR/EAR.
• Exposure to PLM/ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter) and data lake pipelines.
