Salary: $159,120 – $258,570

What you will do

• Set and evangelize a bold technical vision for applied AI to create maximum value for products, dealers, and customers.
• Lead the design and delivery of production-intent prototypes and reference architectures ready for handoff to MLOps and engineering teams.
• Define technical standards, patterns, and evaluation criteria to ensure high-fidelity productionization of AI R&D work.
• Manage a team of senior data scientists and AI engineers, overseeing hiring, performance, and technical coaching.
• Partner with Business POC and Long-Term Research pods to advance use cases from experimentation to prototypes.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with stakeholders and external partners such as Microsoft Azure and NVIDIA.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep expertise in modern AI methods, including large language models (LLMs) and generative systems.
• Significant experience leading applied AI or AI R&D teams that deliver production-intent prototypes.
• Strong command of Python-based ML stacks and modern AI frameworks.
• Solid statistical foundation applied to AI experimentation, including A/B testing and rigorous measurement.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for executive audiences and align stakeholders around a technical vision.

Nice to have

• Master's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Experience with simulation and synthetic environments for physical, real-world systems.
• Background in operator-facing and field-deployed AI experiences.
• Exposure to hirify.global's products, dealer network, or similar industrial equipment ecosystems.
