TL;DR

Database Administrator Senior (Oracle): Maintaining and delivering software application databases and middleware components for aerospace and defense customers with an accent on Oracle RDBMS and Fusion Middleware administration. Focus on implementing RMAN backup/restore processes, administrating RedHat environments, and ensuring system security through digital certificates.

Location: Hybrid (Cape Canaveral, Florida). US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance are required.

What you will do

  • Maintain and deliver software application databases and middleware components to meet customer needs.
  • Administer Oracle RDBMS (version 19c) and Oracle Fusion Middleware (version 12c).
  • Manage Oracle RMAN backup and restore processing.
  • Provide on-call Oracle database and middleware support.
  • Administer software on RedHat and apply digital certificates to enable encryption.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS 19c and Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c.
  • Proven experience with Oracle RMAN backup and restore processes.
  • Experience administrating software on RedHat.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Experience administrating RedHat OpenShift containers.
  • Knowledge of LM CIPS, DoD DFARS NIST 800.171, and DISA RMF cyber controls.
  • Experience with FBM Program database and middleware systems.
