Salary: $295,000 - $345,000 USD

What you will do

• Write, edit, and commission long-form essays, explainers, and profiles that open up AI research and culture to a general readership.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to refine technical content, providing structural and line-level feedback.
• Develop and experiment with new content formats to expand the company's reach to wider audiences.
• Maintain and enforce the company's editorial voice across all published materials.

Requirements

• Proven ability to write about complex technical subjects for a non-technical audience.
• Strong editorial conviction and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Deep knowledge of the current AI landscape to identify interesting and novel developments.
• Must have a body of published or edited work demonstrating the required skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building or running an owned-media publication or newsletter.
• Experience developing or maintaining a written style guide.
• Experience with executive speechwriting or live events content.
• Fluency with social platforms such as X and LinkedIn.
