What you will do

  • Provide expert legal counsel on EU digital regulatory compliance to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Draft and implement internal policies, workflows, and risk assessments for global AI and privacy regulations.
  • Convert complex legal requirements and industry standards into actionable technical and operational requirements.
  • Partner with GRC, Security, and Product teams to align compliance strategies with modelling roadmaps.
  • Advise on AI/ML solutions regarding safety, privacy, and copyright regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate data processing agreements and AI regulatory terms in customer and vendor contracts.

Requirements

  • Qualified as a lawyer in at least one EU member state (admission to practice in Germany preferred).
  • 4+ years of legal experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house experience at an enterprise software company.
  • Expertise in data protection and digital platform regulation, specifically GDPR, EU AI Act, and DSA.
  • Proven track record of managing regulatory risks and implementing compliance programs.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, product development lifecycles, and data governance.
  • Ability to translate legal concepts into clear advice for non-legal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
