Salary: $148,750 - $201,250 USD

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the platform layer, including CI/CD components, runner deployments, and UDS packaging.
• Solve complex technical problems spanning multiple domains such as full-stack development, Kubernetes, AWS, and Go.
• Implement infrastructure as code and maintain Kubernetes clusters across various distributions like EKS and RKE2.
• Collaborate with application teams to advocate best practices and facilitate secure platform integration.
• Contribute to strategic planning to align technological advancements with mission objectives.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Must hold or be eligible to apply for a security clearance.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Go, and GitOps.
• Deep familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and secure coding practices.
• Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) production ATO'd systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with UDS Core, Iron Bank, and/or C-ATO processes.
• Proficiency in API Security, Container Security, and Cloud Security automation.
• Experience with architecture security design and performance instrumentation.
