Salary: $100,300 - $150,000 CAD

What you will do

• Engineer and maintain secure, cost-effective container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and ECS.
• Develop CI/CD solutions to simplify software deployments and increase velocity for product engineering teams.
• Build robust monitoring and observability services to improve identification and recovery from complex failures.
• Collaborate with Technology Engineering and Product Management to scale and optimize production systems.
• Provide architecture planning, capacity management, and technical documentation for service teams.
• Implement technical solutions to prevent or reduce the frequency of system failures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/higher degree).
• Proficiency in Python and/or Golang with a software engineering mindset.
• Strong experience administering Linux systems.
• Experience with immutable and scalable infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code).
• Deep understanding of networking, identity, and authorization systems.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Envoy, or Consul.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, Route53, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with advanced metrics platforms, logging, and distributed tracing.
