What you will do

• Define operational requirements for NGS assays to ensure successful commercial implementation.
• Lead the transition of assays from R&D to clinical laboratory workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate new assays into existing systems and processes.
• Identify operational gaps and capacity constraints to drive assay scale-up.
• Provide operational oversight during early production to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure implementation and scale-up activities comply with regulatory requirements (CAP/CLIA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in molecular diagnostics, NGS, or clinical laboratory operations.
• Experience operationalizing and scaling assays in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Direct experience with large-scale NGS assay deployment and commercialization.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
