TL;DR

Senior Reimbursement Analyst (Healthcare Finance): Performing revenue management functions related to third-party cost reports and contract negotiations with an accent on financial impact analysis of regulatory changes. Focus on preparing Medicare/Medicaid cost reports and developing complex financial models to ensure proper reimbursement.

Location: Hybrid (Livonia, Michigan); must be able to travel to various hirify.global sites as needed

Salary: $34.93 - $52.40 per hour

What you will do

  • Manage third-party cost reports, appeals, and contract negotiations for the corporate office.
  • Conduct prospective analysis on the financial impact of Medicare and Medicaid policy changes.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly cost reporting for hirify.global Corporate Office and Information Systems.
  • Develop complex financial models and perform net revenue month-end close reporting.
  • Coordinate and analyze Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross audits.
  • Provide analytical support, consulting, and education to member organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of operational or consulting experience in revenue management or cost reporting.
  • Basic accounting experience with a firm understanding of debits and credits.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Livonia, Michigan for hybrid work.
