What you will do
- Supervise, coach, and support Hygiene Operatives to deliver high standards of cleanliness and continuous improvement.
- Maintain rigorous hygiene standards, SOPs, and allergen controls to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Manage and monitor the cleaning schedule, ensuring all tasks are thorough, timely, and traceable.
- Train the team on contamination risks and uphold strict food safety protocols.
- Lead investigations into hygiene-related non-conformances and implement proactive preventative measures.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams to support operations and BRC audits.
Requirements
- Experience leading hygiene teams within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and allergen control.
- Ability to act as the senior contact on the night shift and handle external liaisons.
- Proven track record in coaching teams and managing operational schedules.
- Must have existing right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship is available.
