Location: Must be based in Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA
Salary: $136,000 – $212,800 USD annually

What you will do
- Design and analyze power grids for large subsystems and SoCs.
- Develop and execute flows for EMIR analysis and maintain tracking dashboards.
- Partner with EDA tool vendors to evaluate and implement new analysis methodologies.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and verification engineers to develop worst-case vectors for power and IR analysis.
- Perform concurrent IR analysis across SoC, package, and board levels.
- Conduct post-silicon power measurements and correlate results with simulation data.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA (Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA).
- Strong experience in identifying bugs in architecture, algorithms, and performance.
- Proven track record in verifying logic from IP blocks to full system testing.
- Deep understanding of Physical Design, EM/IR, Power Integrity, and Thermal analysis at die, package, board, and server levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering.
- Experience with RTL design (SystemVerilog) and PnR tools like FusionCompiler or Innovus.
- Familiarity with formal verification techniques and ARM/DSP ISAs.
- Experience with power and timing analysis tools such as PrimePower or PrimeTime.
- Proficiency with lab equipment and lab power analysis.
