What you will do

• Determine the roadmap for the Product Metrics team and deliver new features iteratively.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain business-critical petabyte-scale systems.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, availability, and cost-efficiency of metrics services.
• Mentor team members and participate in technical design discussions.
• Collaborate across engineering teams in a fully remote environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience with Golang application development.
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with large-scale data storage and retrieval using technologies like ClickHouse.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse.
• Experience writing Kubernetes operators or controllers.
